HTC new flagship HTC U to be announced May 16th

HTC's next flagship handset is thought to be going under the name of HTC U, previously known as HTC Ocean and it is coming close to its official appearance.
HTC is releasing a squeezable smartphone next month, according to an event invite sent out by the Taiwanese electronics firm on Thursday. The technology is said to be called "Edge Sense," according to several reports, with sensors embedded into the frame of the device.
The device won't actually bend but will have a feature that allows a user to touch the sides of the device to carry out a task. HTC had tweeted a video of how it would work. Squeeze for the Brilliant U
HTC's event invite has the tagline: "Squeeze for the brilliant U." The device is reportedly going to be called the HTC U and HTC has scheduled an event for May 16, 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan, where it plans to showcase the new phone.
According to the speculation, the HTC U will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, a 12-megapixel rear camera, 16-megapixel front-facing camera, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Android 7.1 Nougat and HTC's own Sense 9 UI.
